Buchalter is pleased to announce the addition of Jeffrey Frasier as a Litigation Shareholder in its Portland office.
“We are thrilled to welcome Jeffrey to our team in Portland,” said Adam Bass, President and Chief Executive Officer of Buchalter. “Portland is an important market for us, and Jeffrey and his practice perfectly align with our strategic growth plan in the Pacific Northwest and the firm at large.”
With over 34 years of experience, Frasier has built a distinguished career representing a diverse range of clients in trust and estate disputes, adult guardianship and conservatorship cases, as well as financial elder abuse, real estate, construction, and business disputes. His reputation as a skilled practitioner is well-known, earned through his effective courtroom presence and exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Frasier expressed his enthusiasm for joining Buchalter, stating, “I am excited to be a part of Buchalter’s highly respected Trusts and Estates practice. I look forward to collaborating with the Buchalter team and am confident that joining Buchalter– a full-service firm with an entrepreneurial spirit – will strengthen my efforts to serve my clients.”
Frasier’s approach to problem-solving emphasizes early and aggressive settlement negotiations, aiming to avoid costly litigation whenever possible. However, when litigation becomes necessary, he leverages his advocacy skills and unwavering client commitment to deliver favorable outcomes in the courtroom.
Among his representative clients are individuals and fiduciaries involved in estate or trust disputes, individuals and fiduciaries in adult guardianships and conservatorships, vulnerable adults and their caregivers, property owners, contractors/subcontractors, and business owners.
Frasier spent the first 17 years of his career as a litigator in Southern California, where he gained extensive experience representing clients in courts spanning from Santa Barbara to San Diego. Prior to joining Buchalter, Frasier built his Oregon practice at a well-respected Portland law firm. He is a past member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and currently holds membership in the Multnomah County Bar Association.
David Elkanich, Managing Shareholder of Buchalter’s Portland office, added, “Jeffrey’s arrival is a significant asset to our firm and the Portland legal community. His deep expertise and dedication to client service will undoubtedly contribute to our continued success and growth in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.”
