IP To Be Discussed At NYS Bar Summer Meeting

The Intellectual Property Institute of Canada and the IP Law Section of the New York State Bar Association will co-sponsor a Summer Meeting starting Wednesday, July 16 to Friday, July 18 at the InterContinental Hotel Montreal, 360 Saint-Antoine Street West. Registration starts on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.; Thursday's program will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., andFriday's program will be from 9 a.m. to 11:50 a.m.

The faculty will include Frederick H. Rein, Goodwin Procter LLP; Garret W. Chambers, McKool Smith; the Hon. Jed S. Rakoff, U.S. District Court for the Southern District of NY; Sarah Robertson, Dorsey & Whitney LLP; and Douglas Simsovic, Heenan Blaikie.

Among the topics to be discussed will be patent reform, anti-piracy developments, ethics in litigation, search engines, keyword-linked online advertising and trademark infringement, and user-generated content in advertising.
