Interactive DC Bar SeminarExplores Ethics Of Email

Using hypothetical scenarios and interactive, practical instruction, the DC Bar is hosting an upcoming seminar titled Ethics of Email. The program will take place on Wednesday, January 28, from 6 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. at the D.C. Bar Conference Center, 1250 H Street, NW, Washington, D.C.

Attendees can expect to explore the unique issues involving the use of electronic communications and documents by lawyers. A practical approach to the information will help participants learn about the ethical limits on using new technologies when communicating with clients and others; the ethics implications of working with service providers and discarding electronic files; the rules governing communications with adversaries; outsourcing legal work; privilege logs for electronic communications, and much more.
