The Indiana State Bar Association has scheduled its 8th Annual Property Tax Institute.
The program will take place on Thursday, March 27 from 8:55 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the ICLEF Conference Facility, 230 East Ohio Street, Indianapolis, IN.
Panelists will address issues such as: The Indiana Board's New Procedural Rules; 2008 Legislative Update; Valuation - Handling the Expert Witness; Property Tax Appeal Procedures; Pitfalls and Problem Areas in Property Tax Appeals and Compliance; DLGF Ordered Reassessments and Trending; Personal Property Tax Update, and Property Tax Exemptions for Non-Profits.
The program chair is Barton T. Sprunger, Ice Miller LLP. Among the speakers are Thomas M. Atherton, Bose McKinney & Evans, LLP, and Terry G. Duga, commissioner, Indiana Board of Tax Review.
