Impact Of Social Media On Litigation Explored In Lunchtime Seminar

The Los Angeles County Bar Association has scheduled a lunchtime seminar titled The Impact of Social Media on Litigation: Beware of Unintended Consequences on Wednesday, June 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

It will be held at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel, 251 South Olive Street, Los Angeles.

Speakers Kathyleen A. O'Brien, Morrison Foerster LLP, David M. Ring, Taylor & Ring, and Hon. Elizabeth A. White, LA Superior Court, will discuss the impact of social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn) on litigation and what you need to know to effectively represent consumer and business clients. The panel will use examples from recent cases and their own experience to demonstrate how to avoid the unintended consequences of social media and how to use your opponent's mistakes to your advantage before and during trial.
