The Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA) this month is planning a CLE seminar titled Mediation in Illinois: A Lawyer's Guide to the Mediation Process.
The program will take place on Thursday, September 21 from noon to 4:30 p.m. at the ISBA Regional Office in Chicago.
The program will cover topics such as:
The Anatomy of Mediation;
Imaginative Solutions to Deadlock and Various Mediation Methodologies;
The Case for Using Attorneys as Mediators;
Ethical Considerations for Attorneys Acting as Mediators;
Controversial Issues and Case Law Summary;
Should the Supreme Court Adopt Comprehensive ADR Rules? And What About Pre-exemption of Local Rules?
