Illinois CLE Offers Time Mastery For Lawyers

On Friday, January 15, the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education will present Time Mastery for Lawyers: 100 ways to Maximize your productivity and Satisfaction.

It will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the UBS Tower & Conference Center, One North Wacker Drive in Chicago.

This course is a must for anyone who is serious about needing more time and using time effectively, avoiding costly interruptions while maintaining great communications with clients, meeting deadlines, and performing due diligence. It offers 100 practical ideas, with at least 15 that can be put into practice immediately.

Morning topics include become accountable for your time; create positive attitudes for peace of mind; work on what counts rather than what comes up; and delegate.

Afternoon topics will cover ethics: the client-lawyer relationship - be the master of technology, not the slave; balance being available with getting your work done; get out of e-mail jail; and manage the phone. The competence and diligence segment will cover get and stay organized - clear up your piles and overcome indecision, handle anxiety, eliminate time waste in meetings, and go home satisfied every day.
