How To Recognize Financial Statement Fraud

The Bar Association of San Francisco will present a CLE seminar titled Recognizing Financial Statement Fraud.

The program will take place on Tuesday, June 26 from noon to 1 p.m. at the CLE Auditorium, 301 Battery Street, San Francisco.

This course provides an overview of and common schemes associated with financial statement fraud. The course provides examples of complaints filed with the SEC against companies along with circumstances surrounding the allegations. Participants will become familiar with different methods in which fraud can be committed including manipulation of the income statement and balance sheet or by lack of disclosure.

Speakers will be Toni Thingvold Foley and Samantha Parish, both senior managers at Deloitte Financial Advisory Services, LLP.
