Virginia CLE this month will present a CLE seminar titled The Rocket Docket: Trying Cases in the Eastern District of Virginia.
The program will take place on Thursday, December 7 from 9 a.m. to 1:25 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Tysons Corner, 1960 Chain Bridge Road, Tysons Corner, VA.
The session will attempt to answer questions such as: Do I belong in federal court? How can I use the discovery rules to my advantage? When/why should I employ my arsenal of motions? How can I be more successful in pretrial/settlement conferences? When should I use technology in the courtroom? How can I win over the jury? How do I avoid the traps for the unwary?
Judicial speakers at the seminar will be the Hon. Leonie M. Brinkema and the Hon. Theresa C. Buchanan, both U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
