How Lawyers Are Involved In The Life Of A Corporation

The Indiana State Bar Association will present a two-day CLE seminar titled The Lawyer's Role Throughout the Life of an Indiana Business.

The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, December 13 and 14 at the ICLEF Conference Facility, 230 East Ohio Street, Indianapolis, IN. Sessions run from 8:50 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day.

Discussions will focus on issues such as: Owner/Investor Agreements & Relations; Compensation Models and Alternatives; Real Estate/Lending & Business Financing; Employment Law & Agreements/Covenants Not to Compete; Indiana Uniform Securities Act; Workouts & Bankruptcy; Succession Planning; Critical Intellectual Property Issues for Business Lawyers; Ethics Issues for Business Lawyers; Electronic Discovery; Role of General Counsel in White Collar Crime Prosecutions, and Mergers & Acquisitions.

Among the speakers are O. Wayne Davis, Indiana securities commissioner; Gary R. Case, senior vice president and assistant general counsel, Old National Bancorp; Andrew C. Mallor, Mallor Clendening Grodner & Bohrer LLP, and Seth M. Lahn, professor, Indiana University School of Law.
