How Corporate Legal Services Must Change

The international law firm Eversheds LLP, in conjunction with The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel, will sponsor a conference, Wake Up to the Future: How Corporate Legal Services Must Change.It is scheduled for Thursday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Lighthouse Executive Conference Center, 59th Street between Park and Lexington, New York City.

Top global corporate counsel will discuss how corporate legal functions must change to meet 21st century demands. Corporate general counsel and regulators will expand on: more accountability for cost and contribution; the need for greater value and predictability from law firms; the fast pace of globalization and associated risks; aggressive enforcement action and regulatory cooperation worldwide, and distraction and damage from class actions, interest groups and the media.
