The Houston Bar Association is sponsoring LegalLine, which provides an opportunity for the public to call the Houston Bar Association at (713) 759-1133, where volunteer attorneys will answer simple legal questions, give brief legal advice, or refer the call to the appropriate social service agency for further assistance.
The program is being offered on four days in February. On Wednesday February 3 and 17, LegalLine has been scheduled from 5 to 9 p.m.Consejos Legales, for Spanish-speaking callers, sponsored by the Mexican American Bar Association of Houston and the Hispanic Bar Association, will be held on Thursday, February 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. A Vietnamese LegalLine, sponsored by the Asian legal community, will be held on Tuesday, February 16 from 5 to 7 p.m.
