Hispanic Attorney Legislative Day Planned In February

On Tuesday, February 22, Hispanic lawyers from across the state of Texas will gather at the Texas State Capitol in Austin for 2011 Hispanic Attorney Legislative Day. Three organizations are sponsoring the event: the Hispanic Issues Section of the State Bar of Texas (HIS); the Mexican-American Bar Association of Texas (MABA-TX), and the Hispanic Bar Association of Austin (HBAA). This will be a full day of coordinated activities during the 82nd Legislature's regular session and will include a CLE program by HIS of leading legal issues affecting the law practice of Hispanic attorneys; advocacy by MABA-TX on the legislative agenda developed and approved by the membership; and a legislative reception by HBAA for Hispanic lawyers and invited guests.

A membership in any of these organizations ensures you will receive registration notice and updates on programs. For more details and to make a reservation for this program, go to www.mabatexas.com, www.texashispanicissuessection.com, or www.hispanicbaraustin.com.
