Greater New York Chapter of ACC Announces Name Change and 2015-2016 Board

The Greater New York Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) announced that it has changed the chapter’s name to the Association of Corporate Counsel - New York City (ACC-NYC). The name change reflects the chapter’s representation of in-house counsel members in the five boroughs of New York City as well as Long Island.

A vital source of information, networking opportunities and education for in-house counsel, ACC New York City is one of ACC’s largest chapters, representing over 1,800 members spanning across multiple industries and companies of various sizes. Last year, the chapter produced over 50 events, all free of charge to chapter members.

“We are very excited to announce our chapter’s name change to the New York City Chapter. Our name change enables us to emphasize and bring clarity to our mission and support our members, sponsors, and partners in the five boroughs and Long Island,” said Brian P. Campbell, chapter President.

Mr. Campbell, Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs and General Counsel of DHI Group, Inc. was installed as chapter President alongside the incoming 2015-2016 board of directors this past fall. He has been an enthusiastic member of ACC for the past 20 years and has served on the chapter’s Board for the past three years. “Our chapter has accomplished much this past year. I enjoy working with our leaders and volunteers as we continue to shape ACC-NYC’s growth and provide ongoing support to our members by offering quality programming, education, and networking opportunities.”

ACC-NYC’s 17 board members include officers: Brian Campbell (President), Simon Kyriakides (President Elect and Vice President of Sponsorships), Ashley Miller (Vice President of Programming), Kevin Clunis (Vice President of Membership), Pauline Arnakis (Vice President of Practice Groups), Kimberley Danzi Overs (Treasurer), Daniel Rosenberg (Secretary), Jeffrey Stern (Immediate Past President); directors Laura Alemzadeh, David Brill, Suzanne Cruse, Reginald Rasch, Steven Seltzer, Allison Tomlinson, as well as three new directors, Frank M. Clark II, Marc Nocera, and Jeffrey Schultz, who were elected at the annual meeting on September 17, 2015.
