Food, Drug And Healthcare: A Discussion With Three Panels

The Southern California ACC Chapter has scheduled a Food, Drug and Healthcare MCLE event to discuss how to uncover and proactively address the complex substantive legal issues currently facing the life science, medical device, food, drug, nutritional supplement and healthcare industries. Never before have these companies felt the pressure of issues simultaneously on the state, national, and international levels; day-to-day legal and business activities are now the focus of inquiries by Congress, the FDA, the FTC and the public and plaintiff's bar.

The program will be held on Wednesday, May 12, at USC's Orange County Center, 2300 Michelson Drive in Irvine. It will run from 3 to 6 p.m. and will be followed by a networking reception.

Three MCLE panels will discuss the following topics: Foreign Component Part Suppliers - What Can We Do to Avoid Holding the Bag?; Navigating the Risks of a Robust Advertising, eMarketing & Promotions Program for Medical Products; and How to Staff & Conduct Global Clinical Trials.

Speakers include Matt Marshall, Marilyn Muir Jager and Donald L. Ridge, all partners with Morris Polich & Purdy LLP; Damon Burrows, Allergan; and William Pedranti, Spectrum Pharmaceuticals.
