FisherBroyles’ Soren Lindstrom is appointed Honorary Consul of Denmark in Dallas

FisherBroyles, LLP welcomes the announcement that partner Soren Lindstrom has been appointed Honorary Consul of Denmark in Dallas by Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark.

Soren is replacing Harlan Rogers Crow, who is retiring after 40 years as Honorary Consul.

The Honorary Consul role involves assisting the Embassy of Denmark in Washington, D.C. and the Consulates General in New York, Chicago, Houston, and Silicon Valley in consular, commercial, and cultural matters.

Soren Lindstrom is a native of Denmark and graduated with law degrees from Aarhus University, King’s College London and Tulane University. Soren regularly advises Danish and other Scandinavian and European companies in U.S. legal matters, including M&A transactions, investments and the successful establishment of businesses in the U.S., and is recognized in Chambers Global in the Corporate & M&A area as a foreign expert for Denmark.

Soren is also a member of the board of the U.S. part of the Alliance of Democracies Foundation, founded by former Danish Prime Minister and NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen. In addition, he is also a member of Dansk Selskab for Virksomhedsledelse, a non-profit group comprising top executives, industry leaders and board members from Denmark’s business community.
