On Wednesday, March 4 from 9 a.m. to noon, the New York City Bar Association will present an important forum titled Significant Ethical Issues Facing Inside Counsel: What In-House Counsel & Those Who Advise Them Need To Know.

It will be chaired by David Keyko of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. The program will explore ethics issues of significance to inside counsel and outside counsel working with inside counsel. The topics that will be covered will include corporate-family conflicts in the age of insolvency; secondments; legal outsourcing overseas; the "no-contact" rule and inside counsel; advance waivers and the use of screens; and the pitfalls of inside counsel acting as negotiator.
