EisnerAmper LLP announced that Stanley Barsky has joined the firm as a principal in its tax group. He will specialize in federal income taxation including issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory services, structuring inbound and outbound investments, and complex client matters.
Stan’s broad-based experience also includes advising clients on tax issues relating to consolidated returns, bankruptcies, accounting methods, expenditure deductibility, tax treaty planning, tax equalization, earnings repatriation, tax residency and pre-immigration tax planning, qualified small business stock, subchapter S, subchapter C, subchapter K, the rules impacting cannabis businesses, and other areas. In addition, he represents clients who are under tax audits.
Stan, who will be based at EisnerAmper’s New York City office, is a member of both the American and the New York State bar associations. He is also a sought-after thought leader for various tax and legal publications.
