DRI Seminar Will Examine Nursing Home, ALF Litigation

DRI's Medical Liability and Health Care Law Committee is planning a program titled Nursing Home/ALF Litigation Seminar.

The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, September 27 and 28 at the Bellagio, 3600 South Las Vegas Boulevard, Las Vegas. Sessions will run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on day one and from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on day two.

Discussions will focus on: recent developments in long-term care law; the four questions every juror asks in a long-term care case; how to prevent assisted living facilities (ALFs) from being held to the skilled nursing facility standards, etc.

Among the speakers will be Norris Cunningham, Hall Render Killian Heath & Lyman PC; Charles A. Deacon, Fulbright & Jaworski LLP; Philip James, Trial Solutions, and Bryan R. Reid, Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP.
