DRI Offering Popular Trial Seminar

The Defense Research Institute (DRI) this month is offering another presentation of its popular trial practice seminar, Preeminent Lawyer: Superstars of Trial.

The program will take place Thursday-Saturday, September 28-30 at the Chicago Marriott O'Hare, Chicago. Sessions will run from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on the first two days and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the last day.

The program will showcase the best in trial techniques and strategy. A complete personal injury trucking accident trial from voir dire to closing argument will be presented. It will include opening statements and three closing arguments on the same facts. The closing arguments will be made without consulting, and out of the presence of, the other presenters.

There will be state-of-the-art experts for direct and cross-examinations, as well as critiques and explanations about the strategy that should be employed. Panels with jury consultants, trial attorneys and other specialists will offer comments on the presentations.
