DELVACCA: Tips On Protecting Your Company

On Thursday, May 12, DELVACCA will offer a panel discussion, Employers Under Siege: I-9 Audits, FDNS Investigations and Increased Discrimination Claims - Strategies to Protect Your Company.

It will run from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m. at the Union League of Philadelphia, 140 S. Broad Street.

The federal government's worksite enforcement numbers have climbed resulting in record-breaking numbers of I-9 audits, fines, and increased criminal prosecution of employers. The United States USCIS, the DOL, and the FDNS are also conducting an ever-increasing number of immigration compliance investigations and worksite enforcement activities. At the same time, the DOJ's Office of Special Counsel for Unfair Immigration-Related Employment Practices (OSC) has launched a record number of claims against employers alleging discrimination in the I-9 and E-Verify processes.

Panelists Elise A. Fialkowski and William A. Stock, both partners with Klasko, Rulon, Stock & Seltzer, LLP, and Christin E. Connolly, senior counsel, Comcast Cable, will discuss these developments and offer strategies for in-house counsel.
