DELVACCA Seminar Will Examine Ethics From The In-House Perspective

The Delaware Valley Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America this month is offering a CLE seminar titled Protecting the Attorney-Client Privilege.

The program will take place on Wednesday, March 21 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the WolfBlock offices, 1650 Arch Street, Philadelphia.

The rules of professional conduct are geared toward the practice of law in a law firm, and so there is a large disconnect between the rules and the realities of the in-house practice of law. This seminar reviews and reframes the ethical rules from an in-house perspective. Topics include unauthorized practice of law; conflicts of interest; attorney-client privilege issues; navigating the risky realities of dual capacity; investigations by or at the direction of in-house counsel; client confidentiality, and duty to preserve evidence. This seminar is designed for in-house counsel.

Speakers will be Jonathan A. Segal and Patrick Matusky, WolfBlock.
