DELVACCA, the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America, this month is planning a pair of significant events of interest to its in-house counsel membership.
On Monday, November 13, the chapter will present its Second Annual Corporate Counsel University from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel, One Logan Square, Philadelphia.
Also on November 13, DELVACCA will host its Annual Meeting/Dinner, also at the Four Seasons Hotel. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. with cocktails followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and remarks at 8 p.m. by keynote speaker, the Hon. Dick Thornburgh.
The event will also feature the election of DELVACCA officers and election of new members of the DELVACCA Board of Directors.
Mr. Thornburgh is former governor of Pennsylvania, former U.S. attorney general under two presidents and undersecretary general at the United Nations, during a public career that spanned over 25 years. Mr. Thornburgh currently serves as of counsel to the law firm of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart Nicholson Graham LLP.
