The Delaware Valley Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (DELVACCA) and the firm of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP this month are offering a CLE seminar titled Personal Liability Risks Facing In-House Counsel.
The program will take place on Thursday, April 12 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the Akin Gump offices, 2005 Market Street, Philadelphia. Registration begins at noon.
This presentation will discuss: personal liability risks facing in-house counsel; ways to minimize liability risks; recent cases involving in-house counsel; federal law enforcement trends against in-house counsel; SEC enforcement actions against in-house counsel, and cooperation and waiver of privilege.
Speakers will be Laura Grossi-Tyson, associate deputy general counsel, Independence Blue Cross and past president of DELVACCA, and David L. Comerford, Jeffrey A. Dailey and Katherine M. Katchen, all Akin Gump attorneys.
