Join the Delaware County Bar Association on Wednesday through Friday, June 8 to 10, for the 39th Annual Bench Bar Conference at the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina, 100 Heron Boulevard in Cambridge, Maryland.
The schedule for day one is 11:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. followed by a wiffleball game and barbecue until 9:00 p.m. Day two begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m. followed by various sports and activities. The final day starts at 8:30 a.m., and the conference adjourns at 11:30 a.m.
The conference will open with the State of the Bench and How to Approach the Bench with facilitators Alexander A. DiSanti, Gallagher, Schoenfeld, Surkin, Chupein & DeMis, P.C. and Richard A. Mitchell, Richard A. Mitchell, LLC.
Other featured programs will be a workshop on negotiations led by Michael F. Wenkem Law Offices of Michael F. Wenke, and Hon. Charles B. Burr, II. A program on cyber bullying will be led by Joseph P. Lesniak, assistant district attorney for Delaware County. Business valuation, electronic evidence, and law and the movies will also be discussed. The final program is an entertaining Legal Jeopardy tournament.
