The Defense Research Institute (DRI) this month has scheduled a pair of events of interest to attorneys in western states.
DRI will hold its 2006 Annual Meeting Wednesday-Saturday, October 11-14 at the San Francisco Marriott in San Francisco. Sessions will run from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on the first day, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second and third days, and from 9 a.m. to noon on the fourth day.
The planning chair for the meeting, being presented under the theme Your Golden Gate to Success, is Thomas A. Packer, Gordon & Rees LLP.
Among the speakers will be Andrew R. Byers, The Toro Company; B. Rose Miller, Home Depot USA; Kimberly A. Udovic, Honda North America Inc., and Brian Christensen, H&R Block.
On Thursday and Friday, October 26 and 27, DRI will present an Asbestos Medicine Seminar at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Sessions will run from 8:20 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the first day and from 8:15 a.m. to 5:10 p.m. on the second day.
