Deborah Pollack-Milgate Named Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America

The Litigation Counsel of America (LCA) has named Deborah Pollack-Milgate, a partner in Barnes & Thornburg’s Indianapolis office, as a Fellow of the invitation-only trial lawyers organization.

Fellows are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.

Pollack-Milgate is an intellectual property litigator representing businesses of all sizes and individuals in patent, trade secret, trademark and complex commercial litigation, including antitrust and contract litigation. While at the firm, Pollack-Milgate, who is also co-chair of the firm’s European Services Practice Group, has spent extended time in Mannheim, Germany, where she worked for and advised an international client in U.S. litigation and patent matters.

Pollack-Milgate is a founding member of the Indianapolis ChIPs Chapter and an active participant in the Indiana Germany Business Council Board, the Indiana Health Industry Forum Board, the Plager Intellectual Property Inn of Court, and the Indianapolis Bar Foundation Board. She is also a member of the Indiana State Bar Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association, the German-American Lawyers' Association, the German American Chamber of Commerce and the German Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property. Pollack-Milgate is the co-host of the “Parity Podcast,” the goal of which is to achieve equal numbers of women and men at all levels of an organization.

The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only.
