DC Bar Seminar Will Review Supreme Court's 2006-2007 Term

The DC Bar Association will offer its Supreme Court Review and Preview 2007.

The program will take place on Tuesday, September 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the DC Bar Conference Center, 1250 H Street, NW, Washington, DC.

This popular annual course features a lively panel discussion of the highlights of the 2006-07 Supreme Court term and a look forward at the issues and cases that will be before the court in the next term. The panel includes experienced Supreme Court practitioners and jurists who are uniquely qualified to look at the court's trends and statistics and provide insight into the Supreme Court's 2007-08 term.

The moderator will be John Fisher, District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Other speakers will be Beth S. Brinkman, Morrison & Foerster, LLP; Michael R. Dreeben, Office of the Solicitor General, and Thomas Goldstein, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP.
