DC Bar Seminar Will Review Laws Governing Exports

The DC Bar Association has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Introduction to Export Controls.

The program will take place on Thursday, November 29 from 6 to 8:15 p.m. at the DC Bar Conference Center, 1250 H Street, NW, Washington, DC.

This class will provide the non-export control/sanctions lawyer with a basic understanding of the key statutes and regulations, administrative procedures and players involved in the regulation of U.S. companies (and sometimes their foreign affiliates) that engage in exports, re-exports, "deemed" exports (foreign nationals) or other activities involving foreign trade and business.

Speakers will be Thomas P. Scott, Weadon & Associates, and Carol A. Kalinoski, Carol A. Kalinoski & Associates, Inc.
