King & Spalding announced today that Daniel Daneshrad has joined the firm as a partner in its Real Estate and Funds practice group. He is based in the firm’s New York office.
Daneshrad has broad-based experience advising clients on all aspects of fund formation, including fund structure, formation, ongoing operations, regulatory compliance, governance, joint venture transactions and continuation funds. He represents all types of fund sponsors in raising real estate, energy and infrastructure, buyout, credit and venture capital funds.
“Dan has excellent experience that aligns with the real estate and infrastructure fund work we do, as well as a broad skillset across a wide variety of fund types and transactional structures that will help us continue to expand our client base,” said Jennifer Morgan, co-leader of the firm’s Real Estate and Funds practice group. “We are thrilled that Dan has joined our team.”
Daneshrad joins the firm from Schulte Roth & Zabel in New York. He earned his undergraduate degree from University of California at Berkeley and his J.D., cum laude, from New York University School of Law.
