Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP, a national full-service law firm with offices from coast to coast, welcomes partner Conrad Deitrick to its corporate practice in Baltimore. With more than a decade of experience in estate and tax planning, Deitrick joins 15 other attorneys on the firm’s Estate Planning and Trusts team.
“Conrad will expand the capabilities of our group and provide local expertise in the Baltimore area,” said Nelson Mullins partner Regina Rabitaille, leader of the firm’s Estate Planning and Trusts practice group. “His deep knowledge in his respective practice area makes him an exceptional addition to the team.”
Deitrick is a seasoned estate planning attorney with considerable experience advising high net worth clients in a wide range of matters including multigenerational wealth planning, developing and managing sophisticated estate and tax planning strategies, and structuring business and charitable legacies. He also advises non-profit organizations, foundations, and charities on federal and state tax matters.
“I’m excited to join Nelson Mullins in Baltimore,” said Deitrick. “I believe that the firm’s national presence and deep bench in corporate and real estate practice will enable me to deliver better results to my clients, and I feel that my skills and experience will allow me to bring real value to the Baltimore office.”
The move to Nelson Mullins comes after nearly two years at Baker Donelson in an of counsel role. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at DLA Piper after nearly three years at McDermott Will & Emery. Before practicing law, Deitrick served as an Infantryman in the U.S. Army National Guard.
Nelson Mullins opened its Baltimore office in 2018 with 23 corporate and litigation attorneys. It has more than doubled in size since then and now has 51 attorneys serving clients in the Mid-Atlantic region and beyond.
