The Colorado State Bar has scheduled an Environmental Update and Hot Topics seminar for Thursday, November 13, from 9 a.m. to 4:40 p.m. at the CLECI Large Classroom in Denver.
It will run from 9 a.m. until 4:40 p.m. with a lunch break on your own.
With so many new developments and critical issues in environmental law, this comprehensive program is important for seasoned environmental law practitioners and for those taking a first environmental case. Scheduled topics include an air update, Ozone - Strategies for Meeting the Current Federal Ozone Standard; Multi-Media Impacts: The Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission's New Public Health, Welfare, Environmental and Wildlife regulations; and Emergency Response: Tales from the CO Department of Public Health and Environment on the Salmonella Outbreak in Alamosa.
The faculty includes some of Colorado's experts in air, water and land issues. The new Oil & Gas Conservation Commissions updates panel will include Joshua B. Epel, member, CO Oil & Gas Conservation Commission and counsel to DCP Midstream, LLC and Jep Seman, of counsel, Hensley, Kim & Holzer, LLC. A session called Everything You Need to Know About Self Audits will be presented by Scott Reisch, Hogan & Hartson, and by David Rochlin, senior air enforcement attorney for EPA Region 8.
