Colorado Campaign For Inclusive Excellence And ACC Focus On Diversity

Join the Colorado Campaign for two summer courses focused on diversity.

The first program, Glass Ceilings and Dead Ends: The Future of Women Lawyers at Large Law Firms, will be held on Thursday, June 17. This seminar runs from 8:00 until 9:30 a.m. and is located at the offices of Dorsey & Whitney, LLP at 320 17th Street, in Denver.

The second seminar, scheduled for Monday, June 28, titled Skeptical? A Conversation about Diversity and Inclusion, is located at the offices of Holland & Hart LLP at 555 17th Street, also in Denver. This session begins at 11:30 a.m. and will end at 1:30 p.m.

The June 17 program will be presented by Professor Eli Wald, Sturm College of Law. He will speak about the new ideology of hyper-competitive professionals taking hold in large law firms and how this attitude negatively affects women lawyers in their quest for equality.

The featured speaker for the June 28 program is Dr. Arin Reeves, a national legal diversity expert of the Athens Group. Her topic will include a conversation between three individuals from legal organizations who are not convinced regarding diversity and inclusiveness efforts. The conversation will be open to all participants' voices and opinions.
