Colorado Bar To Explore Securities Law

The Colorado Bar Association has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Fundamentals of Securities Law for January 30, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the CLECI Large Classroom, 1900 Grant Street in Denver. A live webcast of this seminar will be available.

The seminar is designed for attorneys entering securities law practice, business law attorneys who need a good working knowledge of securities law, broker-dealers and other securities industry professionals, corporate management, and anyone who needs to get up to speed on concepts in securities law.

The faculty will lead participants from the basic definitions to more advanced concepts in securities law. A full hour of ethics instruction, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and other reporting issues, and a segment on how to help your clients avoid violating the securities laws will be covered.
