Colorado Bar Seminar Will Offer Appellate Practice Advice

The Colorado Bar Association (CBA) has scheduled a CLE seminar titled 2007 Appellate Practice: Better Writing, Briefing and Argument.

The program will take place on Wednesday, January 9 from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the CLECI Small Classroom, 1900 Grant Street, Denver.

Judge John R. Webb, Colorado Court of Appeals, will provide real-world guidance on the best ways to be successful during an appeal. Judge Webb provides succinct and practical advice on how to be persuasive during your next appeal. Specific discussion topics include: evaluating the merits and risks of an appeal; keys to clearer and more effective writing; secrets to a brief that helps the court decide the case, and tips on the most persuasive oral argument.
