The Colorado Bar has scheduled a live event titled Practice and Procedure Under Colorado's New Local Bankruptcy Rules for Friday, June 26, at the CLECI Large Classroom, 1900 Grant Street in Denver.It will begin at 9 a.m. and adjourn at 4:40 p.m.
Attendees will learn about the new local bankruptcy rules, appendices and forms; changes in filing requirements and notices; rule changes affecting Chapter 11 and Chapter 13 proceedings, adversary proceedings and appeals; creditors' issues; and a panel presentation including all five of Colorado's bankruptcy judges.
A faculty that includes the bankruptcy court's judges, experienced attorneys from the U.S. Trustee's Office, senior staff of the bankruptcy court, and local bankruptcy attorneys will guide you through the new rules and forms that affect your practice. Each presentation will include one of Colorado's bankruptcy court judges along with other faculty and will conclude with a judges' forum panel presentation.
