Colorado Bar Program Will Review Conservation Easements

The Colorado Bar Association this month has scheduled a video replay of a CLE seminar titled Tax-Based Hot Topics in Real Estate.

The program will take place on Friday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. at the CLECI Small Classroom, 1900 Grant Street, Denver.

Because Colorado is a targeted state for new IRS audits concerning conservation easements, this seminar is designed to keep attorneys current in their knowledge of Section 1031 like-kind exchange rules, including structure and related party rules.

Speakers will be Douglas J. Becker, Otten Johnson Robinson Neff & Ragonetti PC, and James R. Walker, Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP.

For details on available CLE credits and registration fees, see the Bulletin Board on The Metropolitan Corporate Counsel website at www.metrocorpcounsel.com.
