Colorado Bar Association Plans Advertising Law Seminar

Advertising Law-Rules of the Road is the title of a CLE seminar planned by the Colorado Bar Association to be held on Thursday July 24 at the CBA-CLE Classroom, 1900 Grant Street in Denver.

Registration will begin at 8:30 a.m., and the conference will follow from 9 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

Colorado Attorney General John W. Suthers, the keynote speaker,will discuss consumer protection.This intensive, full-day program also willcover such topics as substantiating express and implied claims from the perspective of the government; data security and consumer privacy - best practices; and making the right choices in a heavily regulated industry.A panel discussion titled What to Do if the FTC or State AG Comes to Call is included.Lunch is provided, and lunchtime remarks will be presented by John Villafranco of Kelley Drye Collier Shannon PLLC.
