Coalition To Honor NY Banking Superintendent

The Coalition for Debtor Education, a joint project between Fordham Law School and New York Law School, this month is planning its First Annual Celebration of the Importance of Financial Literacy.

The event will take place on Thursday, February 8 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Fordham Law School Atrium, 140 West 62nd Street, New York City.

The gathering will honor Diana L. Taylor, superintendent of banks for the State of New York, for her commitment to increasing financial literacy. A hallmark of her tenure has been a commitment to increasing consumer awareness. Under her leadership, the NY Banking will direct more than $3 million from settlement agreements to fund consumer education programs.
