On Thursday, August 12, the Colorado Campaign for Inclusive Excellence will offer Breaking Down Barriers Through Awareness: An Interactive Diversity training.
It will run from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. at the offices of Qwest, the program partner, 1801 California Street in Denver. Speaker Dr. Jesús Treviño, associate provost, Center for Multicultural Excellence, the University of Denver, will present this interactive workshop designed to deepen participants' understandings of diversity issues through exercises, stories, group dialogue and concept simulations. It will focus on world view, personal and group identities, and the visible concept of privilege.
Dr. Treviño has given diversity awareness training to more than 250 attorneys in the Denver legal community.
