The Colorado Bar Association has scheduled a one-day seminar titled Post-Award Proceedings in Arbitration for Friday, September 12 from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the CLECI Large Classroom in Denver.
Seminar attendees will learn about enforcing the award; challenging the award; arbitrator's failure to disclose - evolving grounds for challenging the award; and a panel discussion titled The Pros and Cons of Expanding the Appealability of Arbitration Awards - the scope and limitations of Hall Street Assocs., LLC v. Mattel, Inc. (U.S. 2008); Skirting Hall Street ; and should party agreements on the scope of review be encouraged and enforceable?
