CLOC Announces Three New Appointments to Board of Directors

The Corporate Legal Operations Consortium (CLOC) announced the appointment of three new members of the Board of Directors who will join the organization immediately.

The new members who will be joining the board are Jason Barnwell, Assistant General Counsel-Legal Business, Operations, and Strategy, Microsoft; Mike Haven, Senior Director, Assistant General Counsel, and Head of Legal Operations, Gap, Inc; and Jamal Stockton, VP, Head of Legal Innovation and Technology, Fidelity Investments.

The three new board members join Aine Lyons, Deputy General Counsel and VP WW Legal Operations at VMWare, who was also added to the board earlier this year. Existing board members Christine Coats, Brian Hupp, Lisa Konie, and Mary O’Carroll are excited to welcome all the new members.

Steve Harmon, VP and Deputy General Counsel at Cisco, and founding board member, will step down from the Board at this time. Harmon’s service and relentless commitment to taking the organization to the next level have been critical to the organization’s growth. He will continue to be actively involved with CLOC in helping to drive change in the ecosystem. In addition, CLOC is in the early design stage of developing an advisory council to the board. Harmon will continue to participate in the assessment and development of that advisory council in anticipation of focusing his efforts there going forward.

“We are delighted to welcome Jason Barnwell, Mike Haven and Jamal Stockton as new Directors. Given the diverse backgrounds and impressive track-records of each of our new board members, I’m confident that their leadership will add a valuable perspective to our Board of Directors and to CLOC’s future growth,” said Mary O’Carroll, CLOC President. “We appreciate their willingness to serve as directors and look forward to benefiting from their judgment and counsel.”

“Our next three board members were selected to compliment the strategic vision of the board. The CLOC board of directors wanted to add diversity of knowledge, experience and varied backgrounds”, explains Christine Coats, CLOC CFO. “We have added three very qualified individuals in their specific areas of expertise to fill in gaps and round out the board to lead CLOC to the next tier in growth.”
