Class Actions Update In Philadelphia

The Pennsylvania Bar Institute will provide a course reviewing the latest developments in class action lawsuits on Thursday, July 21 at the PBI Conference Center at the Wanamaker Building in Central Philadelphia.

It begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.

Class action lawsuits remain one of the focal points of high-stakes litigation in many areas of the law, yet the standards applicable to class actions have evolved. Issues to be discussed include evolving pleading requirements and their effect on class actions; how to litigate the class certification motion; best litigation practices for success in the courtroom; and expert perspectives on class actions.

The program will benefit outside attorneys who are prosecuting or defending class actions, as well as in-house counsel who want to gain a competitive edge in this fast-moving field.
