CenterPoint Energy has selected Jason Ryan as general counsel and senior vice president, effective April 2. Previously, Ryan served as CenterPoint’s senior vice president of regulatory services and government affairs.
Ryan will, in his new role, oversee the following functions: regulatory services; government affairs; corporate governance; securities and commercial law; litigation and claims; internal audit; environmental; and ethics, compliance and privacy.
Prior to joining the company in 2009, Ryan represented CenterPoint Energy as outside regulatory counsel and before that, was a managing partner at RyanGlover LLP and a global projects attorney at Baker Botts LLP.
