The Colorado Bar Association (CBA) and the Denver Sturm College of Law will present an eight-week course titled Essential Spanish for the Legal Professional.
The program will take place each Monday and Wednesday from August 27 to October 15, 5:30 to 7 p.m. each day, at the CLECI Large Classroom, 1900 Grant Street, Denver.
This program is designed to teach students basic conversational skills, basic vocabulary related to the law and law practice areas, and cultural values that interfere with interaction between law professionals and Spanish native speakers so they can communicate properly with Hispanic clients and their families.
Instructors for the course are still to be announced.
