The Los Angeles County Bar has scheduled 30 hours of basic mediation training over five days - from Tuesday, January 20 to Saturday, January 24 - at the LACBA Conference Center, 281 South Figueroa Street in Los Angeles. All the sessions will run from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The program format is 30 hours of small-group exercises and role-playing designed for those who want to acquire a strong foundation in basic mediation skills and satisfy the classroom requirements of the California Dispute Resolutions Act of 1998.
The scheduled speakers are Lynn Bassis, Bassis Mediation Group; Gail Nugent and John Rodriguez, Dispute Resolution Services; and L. Therese White, dispute resolution trainer.
