CA Bar Seminar To ExploreIP In Entertainment Industry

The Intellectual Property Law Section of the State Bar of California this month is planning a CLE seminar titled Intellectual Property in Entertainment and Media.

The program will take place on Thursday, December 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Beverly Hills Hotel and Bungalows, 9641 Sunset Boulevard. Beverly Hills, CA.

With the advent of new media technologies, evolving content formats, and changing consumer demands, the industry is rapidly transforming. In this inaugural conference, legal and industry leaders from top entertainment organizations will explore IP issues facing their industry: brand integration in entertainment; IP portfolios for new media companies; entertainment on the Internet, and the clash between IP protection and free access to content.South
