Boston Bar To Present Update Of Health Law Legislation

On Monday, June 8, 2009 from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m., the Boston Bar Association will hold an update of Health Law Legislation 2009 at its headquarters at 16 Beacon Street, Boston. A reception will follow.

Panelists will be Thomas Barker, Foley Hoag LLP, who will also act as the moderator; Sarah Iselin, commissioner, Division of Health Care Finance and Policy; Brian Rosman, Health Care For All; Deborah Enos, Neighborhood Health Plan; Timothy F. Gens, Massachusetts Hospital Association; and legislative leaders from the Health Care Finance and Public Health Committees have also been invited to speak.

They will provide the latest information from key state regulators and legislators about the status of legislation and policy under consideration at the State House. Specific Topics will include: state health care financing and coverage; payment reform; and public health and preparedness. The program will conclude with a Q and A session.
