The Boston Bar Association's International Law and Intellectual Property Sections are sponsoring a program on Doing Business in and with China on Tuesday, June 15, at the Bar Association located at 16 Beacon Street in Boston. It will begin at 4:00 p.m. and end at 7:00 p.m.
The program will cover the latest issues involved with representing U.S. companies and their dealings with China. The topics will include options for setting up operations in China, unique transactional issues, intellectual property management, antitrust issues, and corporate cultural considerations in doing business in and with China.
Expert panelists will also discuss the unique issues involved in representing Chinese companies in the United States.
The panelists are Stephen Y. Chow, Burns & Levinson, LLP; Henry H. Liu, head ofthe China practice at Nixon Peabody, LLP; X. Linda Ji of Foley & Lardner, LLP; and Xylina Wu, director of business development, China and Biotechnology, Massachusetts Office of International Trade & Investment.
