As of January, the Boston Bar Foundation's (BBF) John & Abigail Adams Benefit, with John Fish of Suffolk Construction Company, Inc. as its honoree, has raised $545,000 from a broad spectrum of 68 law firms and businesses. Over 1,000 guests descended on the MFA's New Art of the Americas Wing in January for the benefit.
The BBF advances access to justice and supports innovative community outreach programs providing unique opportunities for lawyers to serve our community. Proceeds from the 2011 John & Abigail Adams Benefit provided grants to 25 legal aid providers serving these and other critical needs, including domestic violence victims and veterans.
